I am a midwest girl living and loving life California. I spend my days either chasing my 3 crazy boys around parks and the beach or snuggling them at home while building my dream photography business.
I am a bay area transplant from the midwest. A few of my favorite things are being around kids, great light, pretty colors and lots of flowers.
As a former teacher and mama of three crazy boys, I know exactly how to play and interact with your kids to get the best smiles and candid posing.
I am a planner by nature and in my business and life, I tend to make a plan for the plan about the plan. From the minute you book with me, I have everything covered from location ideas, to my client wardrobe available for use.

Rachael is amazing. Her photos are gorgeous, and on top of that the sessions are always fun and feel easy (even with 3 kids). She has a beautiful home studio, and also a ton of great outdoor locations that she knows and recommends. She has a client wardrobe, and if you’d prefer to wear something of your own always has great suggestions on what will look best at the location and with her style. The session itself is always relaxed, fun, and easy. She never makes you feel rushed (even in the mini sessions). She is amazing with kids, and even gets my 4 year old to cooperate, which is not an easy task. She makes the shoot feel more like a fun outing, which also means the pictures always look like the kids are genuinely having fun and happy. I will work with you every step of the way from choosing the perfection location, to picking out coordinating outfits (when you book a session, you will have full use of my client wardrobe). Come to my gorgeous studio in Alameda, CA or meet me on location in the beautiful Bay Area. I love shooting maternity, newborns, families, weddings as well as hosting a few mini session events every year.
Average package pricing is $650. This includes a pre-session style consultation, access to my curated client wardrobe, a one hour portrait session at my studio in Alameda or on location and digital images on an online gallery.
Packages range from $500-$950 and includes prints for your home.

Portrait session are $400. This includes a one hour session in my studio or on location, creative editing, use of my client wardrobe and high resolution files delivered in an online gallery.
Session Films
